Schnauzers have a strong reputation for being healthy, suffering few health issues throughout their lives. The few health concerns that may be discovered are not generally prone to being life-threatening. Obesity, allergies kidney stones, and UTIs are minor health issues that can be solved with diet, exercise, and healthy adjustments as necessary. Schnauzer breeds, on average, have a lifespan of 10+ years bringing joy to you and your home. Some miniature schnauzers have even been known to live up to 18 years! The smaller breed schnauzers generally have a longer lifespan than larger breeds (teacup, toy, mini).
